Welcome to MyDogIQ. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MyDogIQ, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy.

2. Description of Service

MyDogIQ provides an online dog intelligence assessment platform. Our services include:

  • Free and paid dog IQ tests with scored results
  • Detailed intelligence reports and personality profiles
  • PDF certificates of intelligence (premium plans)
  • Shareable result cards and public dog profiles (premium plans)
  • Global leaderboard ranking (premium plans with opt-in)

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Each user may register up to 3 dogs
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Payment and Refunds

  • Paid plans are one-time purchases, not subscriptions
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are displayed in USD and include all applicable fees
  • Due to the digital nature of our products (instant test access and results), all sales are final once the test has been started
  • If you have not started the test, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting us

5. User Content

By uploading photos or information about your dog, you:

  • Confirm you own the content or have permission to share it
  • Grant MyDogIQ a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display the content as part of the service (e.g., public profiles, leaderboard)
  • Agree not to upload illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse the free test limit
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt our services
  • Scrape, data mine, or automatically collect data from our website
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or spam
  • Impersonate another person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

All content on MyDogIQ, including but not limited to text, questions, scoring algorithms, designs, logos, and software, is the property of MyDogIQ and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MyDogIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The IQ test results are scientifically validated or equivalent to professional veterinary assessments
  • The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Results will be accurate or reliable for any specific purpose

The dog IQ test is designed for entertainment and informational purposes. It should not replace professional veterinary or behavioral advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyDogIQ and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyDogIQ from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved after 30 days, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
